Reigate Miniature Rifle & Pistol Club · Est. over 100 years ago
No experience. No licence required to start. Based beneath the historic sand caves of Reigate, Surrey — we've been welcoming complete beginners for over a century.
What to expect
Most of our members arrived with no idea what to expect. Here's what your introduction evening actually looks like — calm, structured, and entirely beginner-friendly.
You'll be greeted, shown how the club works, and introduced to the range. No awkward standing around wondering what to do.
Simple, practical, and reassuring. You'll know exactly what to do — and what not to do — before you ever touch a firearm.
You'll shoot air pistols and rifles using club equipment — no licence required. Range Officers are with you every step of the way.
We expect them — and enjoy them. There's always time to ask anything you want, however basic it might seem.
Your first induction session is our gift. No charge, no obligation. Air sessions after that run to around £3–5 each.
Many members enjoy air shooting for years and are perfectly happy. You set the pace. There's no expectation to move on.
Your first evening
New to the club? We ask everyone to start with our dedicated induction evening — it's designed specifically for complete beginners and runs every month.
After induction, regular Monday club nights are open to probationers from 7:30 pm.
Open to all beginners — no experience, no licence required
Getting started
Registration is required before attending. It keeps things safe and organised for everyone.
Go to rmrpc.flutterflow.app and sign up as a new user. Check your inbox for the validation email.
Add a passport-style photo and upload a copy of your ID document. This is required for all members by law.
Under Courses, register for the "New Probationer Induction" on your chosen date.
Each person needs their own account with a unique email address — including juniors. Log out and create a separate account for each.
The pathway
There's no expectation to progress. Many members enjoy air shooting for years and couldn't be happier. But the option is always there.
Before you come
We're best suited to people within around 30 miles of Reigate, Surrey. Regular attendance is important during the probationer period.
Our ranges are in historic sand caves with steps, small doorways, and uneven surfaces. We cannot safely accommodate significant mobility impairments. Please contact us if you have questions.
Juniors are very welcome. There's no fixed minimum age — they simply need to be able to follow instruction and understand that a firearm is not a toy. Each junior must have their own account.
You don't need a firearms certificate to come along and try air shooting with club equipment. Everything is provided and fully supervised.
